MURISA HARBA

 Murisa Harba received her BFA in Theatre Studies from Boston University's College of Fine Arts with a minor in dance and has performed and toured in shows such as Sweet Charity, Amadeus, The Rivals and ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars' Roadtrip. She also directed, co-created, produced, choreographed and acted in an original play, WHITE RABBIT, which premiered at the Huntington Theatre in Boston and completed a successful 4 week run at the Bailiwick Theatre in Chicago.

   Since moving to Los Angeles in 2008, Murisa has found success acting in projects such as the new Jamie Kennedy film Lost and Found in Armenia, which premiered in November of 2012 and had a successful limited theatrical release across the U.S. in major cities. Furthermore, she starred opposite So You Think You Can Dance season 5 winner Jeanine Mason in Understudy, while also choreographing and performing on Disney's I'm in the Band, Korda's Beautifully Esther, and the Kroll Show on Comedy Central. Her film Adonis won best emerging short at the American Filmmakers Pavilion in Cannes Film Festival 2013.  Her production company, Dharmatic Endeavor, just produced their first project, “Skiddle and Bang It,” a 6 episode spy series in which Murisa also directed

    Murisa performs regularly in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Palm Springs with E-plus Productions, The Vintage Belles, The Diamond Bettys and other private event/theatre companies. In March of 2013, Murisa launched her own actors studio called ABOUT THE WORK: a safe place for actors to hone their craft, based in Hollywood and continues to teach at the SAG-AFTRA Conservatory at the American Film Institute for her third consecutive year.

JARED ANDREW HUGHES

Jared has been dancing since he was 14 years old. Through the years he has danced many different styles of dance including Ballroom, salsa, Contemporary, modern, hip hop, and breakdancing. The biggest of these was Ballroom dancing, which started at age 15 when he started taking classes at a local dance studio.

Over the years Jared has danced in many different events, companies and programs such as “Canton’sDancing with the Stars”, Living Fountain Dance Company, and “The Love Concert”. Other projects include teaching dance to inner city elementary schools and kids at a summer camp in Ohio.

In 2009, Jared opened his very own Ballroom dance studio in the heart of his hometown Canton, Ohio where he shared his love for ballroom dancing. In 2012 Jared moved to Los Angeles to further his professional dance career and currently teaches students for competition, wedding dance preparation and social dancing.

AMY LAWRENCE  

Amy trained in ballroom dance at the famousFred Astaire Dance Studio in Boston. Amy was also a member of the prestigious MIT Ballroom Dance Team from 2004-2006 where she competed extensively in the collegiate ballroom circuit. With the team, she had the opportunity to study with top professionals such as Armin Kappacher, Larinda McRaven, Russell Monk, Istvan Cserven, and Mark Sheldon. With her dance partner, Amy quickly climbed the ladder of the collegiate ballroom circuit placing in the finals in all categories of International Ballroom and Latin styles. 

Amy was a featured dancer in the Walt Disney World Christmas Parade featuring dancers from Dancing with the Stars! It wasn't long before Amy caught the eye of instructors from the Fred Astaire Studio, first in Boston and then New York, where she taught for several years. She now teaches exclusively in her hometown of Los Angeles. 

Amy has been involved as a dancer in a number of films, including the short film"Understudy" starring Jeannine Mason, the winner of So You Think You Can Dance?. Amy continues to share her love of ballroom dance to dancers of all ages through her teaching in the heart of Los Angeles.
